Science Parks
The UK Government has made developing the 'knowledge economy' an economic imperative with initiatives in place to encourage innovation and education. At the same time corporations are changing their approach to R&D through outsourcing, collaboration, co-location and consolidation. As an asset class, we believe that this market provides good opportunities for 'first mover' advantage and for scale and specialist asset management to release latent value. Our development activities are bringing us into direct contact with the world's leading digital and technology companies further boosting our competencies in this arena.
Quantum
Quantum was established in 2006 as a 50/50 joint venture with Aviva Investors. It currently has investments in Cambridge and Edinburgh and is developing the Bristol and Bath Science Park.
