Non-Executive Director (independent)

Aged 68, David was appointed to the Board in August 2001. He is a Chartered Accountant and spent most of his working life with Deloitte & Touche where he was a partner for 24 years until retiring in 1997.

David had a special interest in taxation in the UK and internationally. He has experience in working with substantial multinational companies, including those involved in property.

David is Chairman of the Group’s Audit Committee and a member of its Remuneration, Nominations, Risk and Donations Committees.
