Bioregional Quintain
BioRegional Quintain is the only company in the UK building zero carbon communities based on the One Planet Living principles(1).
BioRegional Quintain communities enable those who live and work within them to lead highly sustainable lifestyles, greatly reducing their use of the earth's natural resources and production of carbon emissions.
One Brighton
As with all BioRegional Quintain developments, One Brighton combines homes, offices and shops with open spaces to create an attractive, sustainable place with identity. The 172 homes achieve Level 4 of the Code for Sustainable Homes.
In addition, 10,000 sq ft of community space has being created within the development as a resource for charitable organisations and local people to use. The scheme incorporates roof-top allotments, a green caretaker and links with a local farm so that residents can get fresh local produce delivered to their door. The construction was undertaken with significant care for the environment, using 47% of materials used in construction recycled or reclaimed, triple glazing for excellent insulation and noise reduction and 100% of energy coming from renewable sources.

RiversideOne
RiversideOne is a development of 750 homes, 200,000 sq ft of offices and 25,000 sq ft of retail space. This zero carbon scheme will transform a derelict slice of Middlesbrough into a highly prized dockside destination for the north of England.
Energy will be provided through a combination of on-site and off-site renewable sources. Residents will be able to grow their own vegetables and car clubs will be provided across the site.
RiversideOne has been masterplanned by award-winning architect Will Alsop to ensure that the development not only supports sustainable living but is recognised as world-class in terms of design.
